The Summer Seminar on Nationalism, Religion and Violence in Europe (NRVSS 2018) organized by the Charles University in Prague and Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, supported by the CEFRES–French Research Center in Humanities and Social Sciences, School of Slavonic and East European Studies (UCL), University of Birmingham, Humboldt University of Berlin and the Institute for the Study of Strategic Regions is ready to launch its sixth year!

L’Association française d’études sur les Balkans soutient la CEU! / The French Association of Balkan Studies stands with CEU!

Cet article porte sur la déclaration de soutien de l’AFEBalk envers l’Université de l’Europe Centrale (CEU), menacée par la nouvelle législation hongroise en matière d’éducation. Pour plus d’information, voir la page de soutien à la CEU.

The Association française d’études sur les Balkans (AFEBalk) wants to express solidarity with Central European University and express concern at proposed legislative changes to CEU’s status in Hungary. These changes would endanger the academic freedom vital for CEU’s continued operation in Budapest and would strike a blow against the academic freedom that enables all universities, including those in Hungary, to flourish.
